Assigning Application Hotkeys in Windows

Have you ever wanted to be able to call applications via keyboard shortcuts no matter which application you're currently in? I did too, here's how:

 

(I'll write the article later but basically if you make a shortcut to an assembly and throw it on the desktop it allows you to set the Shortcut Key property if you right click on it and then you'll be able to acces it from anywhere, voila!)
