SQL

SQL (Structured Query Language) is the name given to code used to interact with databases, as there are many types of database there are many forms of SQL. For these purposes I'll likely focus on SQL Server and MS Access sql although I do have some information on Oracle which I may post here if I come across it again, I don't often use oracle SQL very often though so it could be a while. In the context of SQL as used with SQL Server Management Studio you can use it to perform almost any action which means that anything can be automated as far as data manipulation or database management is concerned.
